摘 要：In this talk, I will share from my personal experience how I have continued to be productive in my research collaborations with colleagues and students and publishing in respectable journals. The talk will reflect what my key learnings are from my journey from being a doctoral researcher to becoming a professor. This talk is mainly relevant to researchers in business and management-related disciplines.

主讲人简介：Alain Yee Loong Chong is a Professor in Information Systems and Dean of Graduate School and Global Engagement at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. He obtained his PhDs from the University of Nottingham and Multimedia University Malaysia and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research interests include technology-driven disruptions, social media analytics, digital transformations, and mobile computing. His work has appeared in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, European Journal of Operations Research, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, Transportations Research Part B: Methodological, Annals of Operations Research, and International Journal of Operations and Production Management, among others. He now serves as the Co-Editor of Industrial Management & Data Systems, Senior Editor of Decision Support Systems, and Associate Editor of Information & Management. Alain is the recipient of the Ten Outstanding Young Malaysia Award （马来西亚十大杰出青年）, NSFC Research Fund for International Excellent Young Scientists (RFIS-II) （自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目）and the Ningbo Camellia Award （宁波茶花奖）.
